About Us PCS Isolators has produced high level isolation units for medical use in hospitals, aircraft, ambulances, clinical testing of patients and laboratory testing of samples for many years. In response to the Ebola crisis PCS supplied the NHS and the military with the additional equipment required to deliver the UK’s response, and continue to maintain this equipment for the NHS and military today. In 2019 the Science Museum in London selected PCS Isolators’ products as part of it’s brand new Medicine Gallaires Exhibit, recognising the significance of our products in modern global healthcare. PCS Isolators’ Units surround the patient or equipment in clear PVC envelopes with controlled ventilation. Patients are cared for via specially designed gloved sleeves, half suits and masks. Patients are free to move inside the envelope, and staff can safely provide rapid medical care to the patient without the need for full PPE suits. Benefits of PCS Isolator Units: Self-contained microbiologically controlled environment Erects around standard hospital equipment Full routine medical and nursing procedures completed from outside the isolator making risk of infection minimal Supplies can be introduced and removed without breaking the micobiological barrier Patient visible at all times and therefore can be constantly monitored Bedside conversation is possible at all times at normal voice levels
